It took me 5 years just to get a dr to diagnose me correctly. I've also been repeatedly told I couldn't control my own outbreaks. Yeah, well it's been 5 years. I may still have it in my system, but gone are the 2-3 outbreaks a month. I haven't had an outbreak in 5 years. Vit D, and lysine...and avoiding nuts and sun exposure works.
