I began taking Vitamin D 2000 I.U. daily since last fall and I have not had even one recurrent outbreak. I am convinced it has been the Vitamin D. I always would break out during stress and this has not happened. Why take a pharmaceutical if you don't have to. Get your levels checked and take a supplement.
Yes...stress plays a very real role in outbreaks, Richie.

I have herpes and I am an engineer who works for the largest herpes dating.I have to tell you a secret, you can choose not to believe me. But the truth is that this site has more than 650,000 members and about 80% members are good looking in my estimation.

Unfortunately, STD rates soar worldwide and most people with STDs don't even know that they have them. The government should grant more money for STD education to lower the rates of STD transmission.

This is exactly why meditation techniques are very important to learn. We can then meditate whenever we get the urge and therefore be prevented from ending up with the virus.

honestly, you think a dr is going to give you guidance about taking a vitamin for herpes? It took me 5 years just to get a dr to diagnose me correctly. I've also been repeatedly told I couldn't control my own outbreaks. Yeah, well it's been 5 years. I may still have it in my system, but gone are the 2-3 outbreaks a month. I haven't had an outbreak in 5 years. Vit D, and lysine...and avoiding nuts and sun exposure works. I'm proof....as are a few friends who follow the same regime.
Dr's are very poorly informed about herpes.
